Il Spanderswoud è una zona boschiva di circa 213 ha a ovest della strada Bussum-Hilversum, a sud della Kampheide francese e a est di 's-Graveland e Bantam. Al centro si trova un piccolo campo di erica. Lato del centro abitato di Hilversum ci sono alcune masse d'acqua. L'area è sotto la gestione della Riserva Naturale Goois ed è collegata con la Bussummerheide tramite il Ponte Naturale Zanderij Crailoo.
