Spanderswoud is a forest area of about 213 hectares to the west of the Bussum-Hilversum road, south of the French Kampheide, and east of 's-Graveland and Bantam. In the middle is a small heathland. On the side of the urban area of Hilversum, there are several bodies of water. The area is managed by the Goois Nature Reserve and is connected to the Bussummerheide by the Nature Bridge Zanderij Crailoo.
