Il Canale da Macharen a Oss o Canale del Sindaco Delenkanaal è un canale di circa 5 km di lunghezza che collega Oss con il Maas e fu costruito nel 1963.
Già alla fine del XIX secolo c'erano piani per un canale da Oss al Maas, poiché l'industria della margarina aveva bisogno di una connessione fluviale e il porto di Lithoijen era raggiungibile solo via terra con cavalli e carri. I vari piani per il canale del 1889 causarono molte controversie tra i produttori concorrenti Jurgens e Van den Bergh. Il piano di Arnold van den Bergh prevedeva un canale fino alla Stazione Oss. Questo fu ostacolato dal concorrente Jurgens. Ciò portò al fatto che Van den Bergh si trasferì a Rotterdam nel 1891, il che avrebbe causato molte turbolenze e miseria sociale. I piani per il canale furono annullati.
