Il Vecht, a volte noto anche come Vecht di Utrecht, è un fiume olandese che scorre attraverso le province di Utrecht e Noord-Holland. Il Vecht è stato formato intorno al 600 a.C. come parte del delta del Reno e del corso superiore dell'Oer-IJ. Il Vecht inizia presso la Weerdsluis nella città di Utrecht e sfocia circa 40 chilometri dopo a Muiden nel lago IJmeer. Lungo il percorso, il Vecht scorre tra l'altro vicino ai paesi di Maarssen, Breukelen, Loenen e Weesp.
Nel medioevo, il Vecht era una via di navigazione molto importante tra quello che oggi è il lago IJsselmeer e il Reno, che forniva accesso, tra l'altro, alla Germania.
Nel XVII secolo, durante il Secolo d'Oro, commercianti di successo di Amsterdam facevano costruire o ristrutturare ville lungo il Vecht.
