Fort Pinssen era un forte del XVII secolo che faceva parte della linea d'acqua del West-Brabant, una serie collegata di forti, trincee e zone di allagamento tra Bergen op Zoom e Steenbergen.
Il forte fu costruito nel 1628 tra il forte De Roovere e il forte Moermont con l'obiettivo di chiudere un varco nella pianura di allagamento intorno a Halsteren. Nel 1816 il forte fu dismesso e, col tempo, ricoperto dalla vegetazione, sebbene sia ancora riconoscibile dall'alto.
Il forte non è accessibile, i fossati prosciugati e il forte sono comunque visibili dalla strada.
