De Aker è un quartiere di Amsterdam Nieuw-West, nella provincia olandese dell'Olanda Settentrionale. Il nome è derivato dalla Middelveldsche Akerpolder, in cui si trova questo quartiere. In questa polder, scavata tra il 1876 e il 1896, era principalmente praticata l'orticoltura fino alla costruzione del quartiere.
A De Aker, come a Nieuw Sloten, è stato costruito in modo molto più compatto rispetto alle città giardino occidentali costruite in precedenza. De Aker è la parte abitata più occidentale della costruzione urbana di Amsterdam e confina con il Ringvaart della Haarlemmermeerpolder.
