La villa sulla Schie di Delft a Overschie conta circa 20 monumenti nazionali. L'attuale edificio principale risale al 1939, ma la villa è nata da una corte medievale intorno al 1485, che è stata in parte di proprietà di Johan van Oldenbarneveldt. Johan van der Hoeven ha successivamente unito la villa con i diritti feudali della signoria di Tempel presso Rodenrijs. Nel 1946 la villa è passata in possesso del comune di Rotterdam. La villa è stata poi utilizzata come luogo di conferenza. In seguito, vi è stata installata una sezione del Delta Psychiatric Center. Dal 2021 la gestione del parco è affidata all'Associazione Nature Monuments. Tutte le sculture del giardino vengono restaurate e riposizionate. Nel museo storico Oud Overschie è stata dedicata nel 2022 una mostra. Gli edifici stessi sono ancora di proprietà del comune di Rotterdam e sono affittati in attesa di piani definitivi.
