La Cappella della Sacra Quercia è un luogo di pellegrinaggio a ovest di Oirschot, nella valle della Beerze, a nord della tenuta di Baest.
La leggenda fu trascritta intorno al 1610 da Petrus Vladeraccus, un fervente cattolico dell'epoca.
La leggenda narra che un paio di pastori 'due secoli prima' trovarono una statuetta di Maria sulla riva della Beerze e la posero in una quercia, dopo di che si inginocchiarono in adorazione. Gli abitanti di Middelbeers portarono la statuetta con sé e la posero nella loro chiesa, ma la mattina seguente la statuetta era di nuovo nel luogo originale. Gli abitanti di Oirschot vennero ora per venerare la statuetta, e già tra i primi visitatori ci furono diverse persone che guarirono miracolmente dalle loro febbri.
