Nel centro del Comune di Lochem troviamo il Mercato. Circondato da alcuni edifici storici, tra cui la chiesa di Gudula e il Vecchio Municipio. Purtroppo, gli alberi monumentali davanti, "Linden a foglia piccola", sono stati abbattuti, poiché costituivano un pericolo eccessivo per i visitatori ed sono stati sostituiti da "Falsi Pungitopo".
