Au centre de la Commune de Lochem, nous trouvons le Marché. Entouré par plusieurs bâtiments historiques, y compris l'église Gudula et l'Ancien Hôtel de Ville. Les arbres monumentaux à l'avant, les "tilleuls à petites feuilles" ont malheureusement été abattus, car ils représentaient trop de danger pour les visiteurs et ont été remplacés par des "faux chreysanthèmes".
