Rifugio per il Comando Nord Drenthe.
Il 18 marzo 1945 qui fu realizzato un nascondiglio per i rifugiati, che fu battezzato "La Caserma Principe Bernardo". Questa targa commemorativa è stata posta dalle associazioni storiche di Diever e Appelscha, dopo aver localizzato qui i resti del nascondiglio. Sulla targa commemorativa è riportata la storia di questa particolare località.
