Hideout for the Knokploeg Noord Drenthe.
On March 18, 1945, a hideout for refugees was established here, which was named "The Prince Bernhard Barracks". This memorial plaque was placed by the historical societies of Diever and Appelscha after they located the remnants of the hideout here. The plaque tells the story of this unique location.
