Le 18 mars 1945, un trou à fugitifs a été réalisé ici, il a été baptisé "La caserne du Prince Bernard". Cette plaque commémorative a été placée par les associations historiques de Diever et Appelscha, après qu'elles aient localisé les restes de l'abri. Sur la plaque commémorative se trouve l'histoire de cet endroit particulier.
