Direttamente accanto a Huize Padua si trova un altro enorme monastero. Questo ex monastero cappuccino è stato fondato su iniziativa del rettore dei Fratelli Penitenti di Huize Padua. È stato costruito dal 1848 al 1852. Era il secondo monastero cappuccino nei Paesi Bassi, il primo si trova a Velp ed è anch'esso situato lungo il nostro Kloosterpad. I cappuccini avevano il compito di occuparsi dell'assistenza spirituale degli abitanti dell'ospedale, che allora era ancora definito come asilo per persone affette da malattie mentali. Hanno anche sostenuto la devozione mariana a Handel. Nel 1984 i religiosi se ne andarono. Il monastero si chiama da allora Klooster de Weyst ed è visitabile solo su appuntamento.
