Argeriz si trova a circa 12 km dal capoluogo Valpaços. È costituito dagli aldeias di Ribas, Midões, Pereiro e Vale de Espinho. È attraversato dal Rio Torto, un affluente del Duero. Possiede interessanti resti archeologici.
