Carrapateira è un villaggio situato sulla costa occidentale dell'Algarve, in Portogallo. Amministrativamente, fa parte della parrocchia civile di Bordeira, all'interno del comune di Aljezur, nel distretto di Faro. I suoi luoghi di interesse includono un vecchio forte e una chiesa. Le spiagge vicine sono una meta popolare per il surf.
Carrapateira si trova a 35,6 chilometri per strada a nord-ovest di Lagos e a 110 chilometri a nord-ovest di Faro. È situata lungo la strada N268. A nord-est si trova il villaggio di Bordeira, mentre il villaggio di Vilarinha si trova a sud-est. Un piccolo ruscello chiamato Ribeira da Carrapateira attraversa il villaggio ed è circondato dal Parco Naturale del Southwest Alentejo e della Costa Vicentina.
