Wat Tha Ka Rong o il "Monastero dell'Atterraggio del Corvo Che Piange" è un tempio attivo con il clero buddista. È recentemente diventato un luogo di ritrovo a causa di un mercato dell'acqua che si tiene nei suoi locali durante i fine settimana. È anche popolare, in modo strano, per i suoi impressionanti bagni. Questo monastero era inizialmente chiamato Wat Tha poiché si trovava su un atterraggio del fiume Chao Phraya. Il cantiere navale forniva riparo a circa duecento barche. A sud si trovava Wat Ka Rong (ed esiste ancora un piccolo viharn). I nomi dei due monasteri sono stati fusi sotto questo nuovo nome. Le Cronache di Ayutthaya menzionano l'esistenza del tempio per la prima volta a metà del sedicesimo secolo, ma il monastero è probabilmente stato stabilito molto prima.
