La contea di Refugio in inglese Refugio County è una contea dello Stato del Texas, negli Stati Uniti. La popolazione al censimento del 2010 era di 7 383 abitanti. Il capoluogo di contea è Refugio. La contea è stata creata come municipalità del Messico nel 1834 ed organizzata come contea texana nel 1837.
Secondo l'Ufficio del censimento degli Stati Uniti d'America la contea ha un'area totale di 818 miglia quadrate , di cui 770 miglia quadrate sono terra, mentre 48 miglia quadrate sono costituiti dall'acqua.
