Il termine Stretti o Stretti Turchi si riferisce ai due stretti che uniscono da una parte il Mar di Marmara con il Mare Egeo e dall'altra il Mar di Marmara al Mar Nero.
Gli Stretti turchi, considerati il confine convenzionale fra Europa ed Asia, sono acque internazionali il cui status è regolato dal 1936 dalla Convenzione di Montreux.
