De Schareck is een 3123 m hoge berg in de Goldberggroep van de Hohe Tauern in Oostenrijk. De top ligt aan de Alpenhoofdkam, precies op de grenslijn tussen Karinthië en Salzburg, ongeveer 4,8 km luchtlijn oostzuidoostelijk van de Hohe Sonnblick. De Schareck is na de Hocharn de op een na hoogste benoemde top van de Goldberggroep. Zuidwestelijk van de top bevindt zich de Wurtenkees met het skigebied Mölltaler Gletscher. Onder de berg ligt de Hochwurtenspeicher van de krachtwerksgroep Fragant. Noordelijk reikt de Schareckkees bijna tot aan de top.
