De halte Wien Praterkai bevindt zich in de 2e district van Wenen, Leopoldstadt. Het ligt aan de Laaer Ostbahn, aan het zuidwestelijke einde van de Stadlauer Brücke. Hier stoppen eens per half uur S-Bahn-treinen van lijn S80. De halte Stadlauer Brücke – Lusthaus werd geopend in 1893. In de jaren 1994 en 1995 moest de dienst tijdelijk worden stopgezet, omdat door de bouw van de krachtcentrale Freudenau en het daarmee samenhangende verhoogde peil van de Donau de spoorbrug inclusief halte met meerdere meters moest worden verhoogd. De nieuw aangelegde halte kreeg de naam Wien Praterkai. Tot 2008 eindigde de tramlijn 21, afkomstig van het Zwedenplein, ten noorden van de halte Praterkai, maar met de opening van de U2-verlenging naar het stadion werd lijn 21 stopgezet en werden de rails verwijderd.
