De brouwersfamilie Vanden Stock waarvan telg Constant bekend werd als voorzitter van RSC-Anderlecht vestigde zich na 1968 in een reeds bestaand gebouw en brouwde er o.a. Lambiek. In 1991 werd Belle-Vue overgenomen door Inbev maar die stopte reeds vijf jaar later met de productie op deze plek. In mei 2013 kreeg men het voor elkaar om in de oude brouwerij 2 hotels, een sociaal restaurant, een opleidingscentrum voor kort geschoolden, een aantal energiezuinige appartementen en het MIMA museum in onder te brengen. Een van de twee hotels is het allereerste hotel in Brussel en België dat 100% passief is. Het Belle-Vue project was ook één van de eerste grotere reconversieprojecten aan het kanaal dat volledig werd afgewerkt.
