De Hoge Blekker is de hoogste duin aan de kust van België. De duin is 33m hoog. De naam zou afkomstig zijn van "blekker" of "blinkaart" wat zoveel betekent als onbegroeide duinheuvel die het zonlicht weerkaatst.
