Het is niet vijf, maar één voor twaalf geweest voor het kasteel van Heers. Anders was die laatgotische parel, omstreeks 1500 herbouwd na oorlogsgeweld, helemaal niet meer te bezoeken geweest. Tot 2017 ziet het er niet goed uit. Vanaf eind 20ste eeuw verloedert het kasteel gaandeweg. Maar nu is het weer te bezoeken
