Meer dan 400 jaar vormde het Kasteel in Hingene de favoriete zomerresidentie van de adellijke familie d’Ursel. In de tweede helft van de achttiende eeuw kreeg het kasteel zijn classicistische kenmerken. Bij een bezoek - tijdens speciale evenementen - imponeren vooral het schitterend stucwerk, de beschilderde katoenen wandbespanningen en de marmeren vloeren. Een aanrader om het fraaie kasteelpark te verkennen: de wandelbrochure ‘Op stap met de hertog’.

Het kasteel is enkel bij activiteiten open maar goed toegankelijk voor rolstoelgebruikers. In het kasteelpark kan je bij droog weer wandelen met wieltjes.
