Temse profileert zich met de Wilfordkaai als toeristisch centrum langs de Schelde. Je kan er inschepen voor een boottocht op de Schelde. De voorbije jaren werd hard gewerkt om de Wilfordkaai aantrekkelijker te maken en ze een exclusief toeristische bestemming te geven. De beeldengroep De Kaailopers herinnert aan de scheepsladers en -lossers die tot WO II zwaar werk verrichtten. Op het bakstenen gebouw van de Molens van Temse staat in neonverlichting de tekst 'Wij kijken door de vensters - U kijkt door de vensters - naar ons die U bekijken'.
