Poelkapelle is een dorp in de Belgische provincie West-Vlaanderen en een deelgemeente van Langemark-Poelkapelle, het was een zelfstandige gemeente tot aan de gemeentelijke herindeling van 1977. Poelkapelle is met zijn ruim 2.000 inwoners een stuk kleiner dan het nabijgelegen Langemark , maar toch is de fusiegemeente Langemark-Poelkapelle voor een stuk genoemd naar deze deelgemeente. Na de fusie bleven enkele gemeentelijke faciliteiten dan ook aanwezig in Poelkapelle, maar ondertussen zijn alle diensten reeds gecentraliseerd in Langemark.
