Leopoldsburg is een plaats en gemeente in de Belgische provincie Limburg. Het is een fusiegemeente die bestaat uit Leopoldsburg en Heppen en behoort tot het kieskanton en het gerechtelijk kanton Beringen. De gemeente telt ruim 16.000 inwoners.Leopoldsburg is vooral bekend vanwege de kazerne Leopoldsburg en de uitgestrekte oefenterreinen van het Belgisch leger. Deze terreinen werden ingericht in 1835 als verdediging tegen Nederland door koning Leopold I, die er in de beginjaren als graag geziene gast geregeld verbleef in zijn Koninklijke Villa.
