Graven is een dorp en gemeente in de Belgische provincie Waals-Brabant. De gemeente telt ruim 13.000 inwoners. Door de gemeente stromen de rivieren Dijle en Train. Graven ligt in de Brabantse Ardennen.
De gemeente bestaat naast Graven nog uit de deelgemeenten Eerken , Biez, Bossut-Gottechain en Nethen. In deelgemeente Graven liggen de gehuchten Doiceau, Gastuche en Hèze. In deelgemeente Bossut-Gottechain liggen de dorpen Bossut en Gottechain en het gehucht Pécrot. In Biez ligt het gehucht Cocrou.
