Volgens M. Degeest (2001) het ietwat vernederlandste dialectwoord "teump", wat spits zou betekenen. Op circa 500 meter ten zuidoosten van het verwoeste slot Grevenbroek gelegen, in een laag, drassig en houtrijk natuurgebied. Volgens A. Claassen, woontoren (13de - begin 14de eeuw) van de oudste heren van Grevenbroek, voordat zij in het begin van de 15de eeuw de verdwenen burcht bouwden, vlg. L. Van de Sijpe en F. Doperé, windmolen uit het begin van de 15de eeuw, waarvoor de weinig bewaarde bouwfysische elementen pleiten.
