Café-restaurant 't Hof van Commerce situeert zich naast de Stavelebrug en met zicht op de IJzer is dit etablissement prachtig gelegen. Na 10 jaar is 't Hof van Commerce de gedroomde pleisterplaats geworden van vele wandelaars, fietsers, waterratten, motaars, bier- en piconproevers en alle andere levensgenieters want genieten kan je er! 's Zomers op het terras langs de IJzer en 's winters rond het gezellige haardvuur.
Dat 't Hof van Commerce geen traditioneel eethuis is, staat vast. Daar zorgt de flamboyante dame des huizes wel voor. "Bediening aan tafel bestaat hier niet", verklapt Iris. "Men krijgt een bord en men bedient zichzelf aan het buffet in de beenhouwerij. Daar ligt een uitgebreid assortiment aan groenten, fruit, sausjes en uiteraard vlees: alles van het varken"
