In het centrum van het dorp, omgeven van het oud kerkhof, straalt deze kleine kerk een ontegensprekelijke charme uit. Aan de buitenkant, boven het portaal, bevindt zich een prachtig Onze-Lieve-Vrouwbeeldje met Kind.
Aan de binnenzijde verdient, naast het altaar achteraan in het koor, de communiebank uit gebeeldhouwd hout (1786) de aandacht. Ze is afkomstig uit Limburg en stelt taferelen uit het Oud Testament voor die de eucharistie voorafbeelden.Nikolaas, de patroonheilige van de parochie, kreeg een ereplaats in het koor. Zijn houten borstbeeld staat boven op een gedraaide kolom met een gebeiteld bloemmotief. Hij is ook afgebeeld op een van de glasramen.
