De site van de elektriciteitscentrale van Zwevegem is onlosmakelijk verbonden met het Kanaal Bossuit-Kortrijk. Deze imposante kanaalsite van 9 ha is een goed voorbeeld van hoe voor de eerste wereldoorlog een elektriciteitscentrale werd opgericht. Er is hier ruimte voor outdoorrecreatie. Tevens kunnen er fuiven en tentoonstellingen georganiseerd worden.
