De parking van De Helix aan je linkerkant is aangelegd met grastegels: dit zijn tegels met gaten waar gras kan doorgroeien. Zo kan het regenwater in de grond sijpelen. Als de parking een harde ondergrond zou hebben zoals asfalt of beton, net als op de straten, dan kan het water niet in de grond dringen. Er komt dan veel minder regenwater in de bodem. Op plaatsen waar er veel verharding is, stroomt het water rechtstreeks in de riolering in plaats van in de grond terecht te komen en dus gaat er veel water verloren.
