De Slag bij Quatre-Bras was een veldslag die geleverd werd op 16 juni 1815, twee dagen voor de Slag bij Waterloo, bij het strategisch gelegen kruispunt van Quatre-Bras. De weg van Nijvel naar Namen kruist daar de weg van Charleroi naar Brussel. Britse, Hanoveriaanse en Nederlandse legerkorpsen onder leiding van de hertog van Wellington, prins Willem van Oranje-Nassau en de hertog van Brunswijk verdedigden de kruising tegen de linkervleugel van de Grande Armée onder de Franse Maarschalk Ney.
