Het Rijksarchief te Aarlen is een van de 19 vestigingen van het Rijksarchief . Het Rijksarchief te Aarlen werd opgericht bij Koninklijk Besluit van 15 november 1849. In 1980 verhuisde het naar een nieuw gebouw aan de rand van de stad.
Het Rijksarchief te Aarlen bewaart archief van de provinciale instellingen van de Belgische provincie Luxemburg en archief van regionale en lokale instellingen of van privépersonen die gevestigd zijn op het grondgebied van de vroegere gerechtelijke arrondissementen Aarlen en Neufchâteau .
