Een op een lichte verhevenheid ingeplant, homogeen neogotisch ensemble van parochiekerk en pastorie in Haasrode, kwam tot stand in de periode 1894-1895 naar ontwerp van de Leuvense architect Pieter Langerock (1859-1923). De kerksite is in zijn laat 19de-eeuwse toestand goed bewaard gebleven.
