Het Natuurparkcentrum Botrange verstrekt informatie over de excursiemogelijkheden in de Hoge Venen. Daartoe behoren naast wandelingen met gids ook huifkarritten. De permanente tentoonstelling Fania biedt een inleiding in de fauna, flora en geologie. Het hele jaar door lonken evenementen als het Natuurparkfeest, het paddenstoelenfeest en de indoorkerstmarkt. In de winter worden er ski’s en sleeën verhuurd. Speciaal voor de jonge bezoekers is er een speelplein rond het thema natuur en worden er workshops en veenklassen georganiseerd.
