De Duinbossen van De Haan is één van de groene parels aan de kust. Het gebied bestaat uit drie delen en is wel 152 hectare groot. Je vindt er zowel open duinlandschap met de typische fauna en flora van de kust, als uitgestrekte beboste duinen. Bijzondere bewoners van de Duinbossen van De Haan zijn de beschermde rode bosmieren, die wel met 700.000 in één mierenhoop kunnen wonen!
