Gielse Garden is centraal gelegen in de Kempen en biedt een goeie uitvalsbasis voor fietstochten of daguitstappen. Zowel op cultureel gebied als op natuurgebied heeft de streek veel te bieden. En voor vakanties met kinderen is er natuurlijk ook Bobbejaanland op een boogscheut van Gierle en de grote binnenspeeltuin in Wechelderzande.
