Fasegewijs tot stand gekomen langgestrekte hoeve met vroeg 20ste-eeuws uitzicht, mogelijk 19de-eeuwse kern. Gelegen tussen de steenweg en de spoorlijn Aarschot-Diest, parallel en iets achteruit gelegen ten opzichte van de steenweg. Woonhuis rechts (ten oosten), links ervan stal en schuur. Op de Ferrariskaart (gehucht Savel) is er bebouwing zichtbaar, waarschijnlijk echter niet op exact deze plek. Hoofdvolume reeds weergegeven op het primitief kadasterplan (1822). In 1905 is er sprake van een "reconstruction partielle". In 1986 wordt het huidige grondplan bekomen door een uitbreiding achteraan.
