Bruwaanstraat z.nr. "Boomkruis Vorte Bossen" opgehangen in een beuk aan de rand van het bos. Naar verluidt vroeger "Simoens' kruislievenheere" genoemd. De aanleiding of reden van de aanwezigheid van het kruis is niet gekend. Het oorspronkelijke kruis uit 1861 wordt in 1961 door Charles-Louis Hoste (cf. Kruisbergstraat nr. 2) vernieuwd. Groenbeschilderd, betonnen kruisbeeld in een cementkapelletje (groene en rode beschildering) met in de nok het opschrift "CH. HOSTE / 1861-1961 INRI". Houten zitbankje.
