De Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekapel van Wijnendale is al sinds de 15de eeuw een bedevaartsoord en gedachteniskapel voor de familie Matthieu. Er bestaan verschillende legendes rond het ontstaan van de kapel. Maar één ding is zeker, de kapel is omringd door cultuurschatten. Het staat vlak naast het Kasteel van Wijnendale. Een middagje vrij maken om te vertoeven in het charmante dorpje Wijnendale, is dan ook een must!
