Het hof van Ename wordt ook wel eens het hof te Bossuit genoemd (aan de Enamemeers). We vinden de vroegste vermeldingen van dit hof in de 12de eeuw. In de 17de eeuw werden hier in het kader van de Franse veroveringstochten vaak officieren en soldaten ingekwartierd. De bakstenen gebouwen, die een vierkant met binnenplein vormen, dateren hoofdzakelijk uit de 18de eeuw en vormen een mooi architectonisch geheel, dat men betreedt via een torenpoort. De duiventoren draagt het schild van de Enaamse abdij. De cichorei ast, vernieuwd in 1954, heeft gefunctioneerd tot 1964.
