Description

Zogenaamd "De Wallekens", later "Stalinsgoed" en nog later ook zogenaamd "Rattekasteel". Omgracht goed met grote tuin en woonhuis gebouwd op een motte, naar verluidt in 1552. Deze percelen met woonhuis en neerhof zouden onder geen enkele heerlijkheid gelegen hebben. Het goed werd in 1626 verkocht aan jonker Jan Stalins, beheerder van het goed van de heer van het Land van de Woestijne en baljuw van die heerlijkheid van 1607 tot 1623, heer van Lembeke in 1626. Voortaan werd het goed zogenaamd "Stalinsgoed" en tot 1892 behorend tot zijn rechtstreekse afstammelingen.
