Yvette Dardenne heeft een bijzondere hobby: ze verzamelt geïllustreerde conservenblikjes. Ze heeft er maar liefst 60.000, afkomstig uit alle delen van de wereld. En ze is nog niet klaar! Haar indrukwekkende collectie is op afspraak te bezoeken. Reken ongeveer twee uur om de bijzondere verzameling te ontdekken, die is gehuisvest in verschillende gebouwen. Deze hobby is bij toeval ontstaan en is in de loop der jaren een ware passie geworden, die zelfs in het Guiness Book of Records wordt vermeld. Deze monumentale collectie geeft een goed beeld van de geschiedenis van de 19e eeuw tot nu. Yvette Dardenne wordt dan ook regelmatig gevraagd voor thematentoonstellingen over de hele wereld.
