Jaarlijks maken bijna 40.000 mensen gebruik van deze veerpont over de Maas, die vaart tussen de Nederlandse gemeente Eijsden en het Waalse dorp Lanaye (Ternaaien). Er is plaats voor ongeveer twaalf reizigers, voetgangers of fietsers. Deze oversteek is een handige optie om de route via de weg te omzeilen, die alleen via Maastricht of Visé kan worden afgelegd. Houd even pauze op een van de terrassen op beide oevers. De pont is in gebruik van Pasen tot aan de herfstvakantie, 7 dagen per week, van 10 u. tot 20 u. in het seizoen. Afhankelijk van de weers- en vaaromstandigheden kan het rooster worden aangepast.
