Gehuisvest in het recent gerestaureerde, voornamelijk 17de eeuwse, kloostercomplex én de Gasthuiskapel met aanhorende ziekenzaal uit 1479, garandeert dit museum een bezoek dat zonder twijfel nog lang herinneringen zal oproepen.
Met behulp van de meest moderne multimediatechnieken maak je op een boeiende en leerrijke manier kennis met het dagelijks leven in het oude gasthuis doorheen de eeuwen, het reilen en zeilen van de Gasthuiszusters die er sinds 1552 instonden voor de ziekenverzorging, met de gezinsverpleging en de Dimpnalegende. Een bezoekje aan de goed beveiligde schatkamer vormt de apotheose van ieder bezoek.
