Aat is een kleine Waalse stad in het noorden van de Belgische provincie Henegouwen. De stad ligt aan de samenvloeiing van de Oostelijke en de Westelijke Dender, die als Dender vanaf Aat bevaarbaar is. De stad telt ruim 29.000 inwoners.
Aat is bekend om zijn jaarlijkse Reuzenstoet of Ducasse van Aat, die elke vierde zondag van augustus plaatsvindt . Van de middeleeuwse verdedigingswerken rest in Aat slechts de Burbant-toren.
