Met een opmerkelijke zin voor nauwkeurigheid werd in het Heemmuseum een aantal winkeltjes en woningen uit grootmoeders tijd gereconstrueerd. Verdwenen in Eeklo, maar nog niet vergeten, is de brouwerij Krüger, die in het museum uitgebreid aan bod komt. In het Salon van de kunstgilde ten slotte kan je een aantal kunstwerken bewonderen van lokale kunsttalenten.
